ABOUT THE OWNERS: Gina and Michael Hough

Gina Hough, President

Born in New Jersey, Gina and her twin brothers spent their early childhood in an Italian area of the capital city surrounded by bakeries and butcher shops. After moving into the suburbs, her family re-located to Florida, and she has been there ever since. After graduating high school Gina was a licensed insurance agent and spent time working in finance. She soon began working for a global, building technologies company located in South Florida, and became a successful sales professional where she excelled and began building her client base. She returned to school to earn her degree and after 12 years, she decided it was time to take the leap of faith and co-founded GNM Hough with her husband Michael.

Michael Hough, Vice President & Operations Manager

Born and raised on a cattle farm in western Pennsylvania, Michael learned at an early age how to live off the land to help and provide for his family. After graduating high school, Michael went on to attend college at Penn State University where he played baseball. Still seeking to further his education, he left the college and joined the United States Navy. It is there where he learned and achieved his extensive technical training and most of his time there was spent working as an electronics technician on a ballistic missile submarine. After serving 10 years, and prior to discharge, he worked as a nuclear power instructor. Upon leaving the military, he worked for a global, building technologies company located in South Florida for the next 10 years serving as Operations Manager. It is there where he found his next chapter and GNM Hough was born.

Michael also served our country in the United States Navy for 10 years. During his time there, he was a nuclear reactor operator on a ballistic missile submarine and served as an electronics technician. Prior to leaving the military, he spent the last years there as an instructor in their nuclear power school.

Founded in 2009, Michael and Gina Hough left corporate America to live the dream of owning their own successful security business and they have never looked back. Their business has been built on integrity, trust, and confidence and their success can be attributed to their hard work, determination, and perseverance.

Michael and Gina have a blended family of 4 children. All of them have spent time working in the family business where they have learned to offer the same level of professionalism and work skills that has proven to satisfy their customers. On their free time, Gina and Mike enjoy spending time watching their youngest son play baseball and spending lazy days at the lake.
